What do I get for my registration fee?

  • Shadforth Financial Group Step Up for MSWA Kit, including Race Bib and timing chip. This can be picked up on the day.
  • State of the art online fundraising tools that are easy to use.
  • Massage service (pre- and post-climb).
  • Water and fruit at the finish line.
  • Lots of dedicated volunteers who will cheer you on and can help you on the day.

Can I enter on the day?
Yes. If the event hasn’t sold out, you will need to be at the registration table (in the Central Park forecourt) at 7:00am, so that you can complete an entry form and we can allocate you a race bib number and timing chip. The best way to enter is prior to the event through our online registration system to secure your place.

Can I get a refund?
Sorry, but Shadforth Financial Group Step up for MSWA registration fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Where will the event take place?
The event starts in the Central Park forecourt, and finishes on the top of the building, with a breath-taking view over Perth. Plenty of parking is available at the Wilson carpark in Central Park. Check the website closer to the event for information on discounted parking for Step Up participants.

How long will the event take from start to finish?
That depends on your fitness and experience levels. More experienced and fitter runners may be able to complete the course in less than 10 minutes; others may take 30 minutes.

What are the event cut-off times?
Online registrations close 4.00pm Thursday 28 April. If not sold out prior, you can enter on the day of the event. To guarantee a place, the best way to enter is online. Make sure you get to the event in plenty of time to pick up your race bib and timing chip.

When should I get there?
The registration desk opens at 7.00am, and can be very busy. If you are one of the first starts (ie. 8.00-8:15am), you should get there a minimum of half an hour prior to your start time.

Where do I leave my bags/clothing?
We suggest that you take only what you need – water, a jacket for after the climb, and a small amount of food. If you bring extra items, we can look after them in our cloaking area. All care will be taken but we accept no responsibility for lost or damaged items. cloaking is at your own risk.

What happens if I can’t complete the climb?
We will have lots of volunteers along the way, on every 4th floor, who will be ready and happy to provide help to anyone who may feel ill or experience other difficulties. If you cannot complete the climb, they will assist you in finding your way to the bottom floor using the lifts .

You are making a valuable difference to someone’s life. Funds raised through the Shadforth Financial Group Step Up for MSWA go towards supporting people with neurological conditions living in Western Australia.

Where does the money go?
Every dollar raised goes to the MSWA. MSWA provides support and care to the thousands of Western Australians living with neurological conditions.

What do I do with my cash donations?
There are a number of ways you can hand over your cash donations

  1. Give us a call on 6454 3131 and make a credit card payment for the amount over the phone.
  2. Make a deposit in to our bank account, you’ll need to call the MSWA Events team on (08) 6454 3131 for bank details.
  3. Bring the money with you on the day and give it to our friendly staff at the donations desk.

Don’t forget to log in and add your cash payments as offline donations so your fundraising total increases.
